Inside A Dream, 2020

Home is where one can feel like themselves; it is the central place where you grew up, creating memories and learning new things.

I wanted to express the idea of home where you can reminisce about childhood, the times when everything was carefree and fun.

Much of the work includes black paint scraped to show various bright colours at the bottom.

The black paint symbolizes the present reality of growing up and having responsibilities and worries. The scrapes revealing the colours beneath are our childhoods, happy and bright.

The bubble-like shapes on top also give a fun and happy feeling to the viewer, reminding them that they shouldn't let go of their inner child.
